What changes the price
Resolution, on some models only. Nano Banana 2, Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5 Pro, Qwen Image 3 and Grok Image charge more for larger output. Imagen, Seedream 4 and 5 Lite, Reve and Midjourney do not.
Quality, on GPT Image and Grok. GPT Image 2 at low quality is 2 credits, at high quality 20 to 29. The default is high. If you are drafting, switch it down.
Number of images. Nano Banana 2, GPT Image and Qwen Image 3 multiply by the number of images you ask for. Midjourney always returns four and charges once for the job, which works out to 8 credits an image.
